Kish qualified in 2013 from the University of Liverpool. He believes firmly in lifelong learning in order to provide the best care possible for his patients. He takes any given opportunity to attend courses to help
him achieve this.

Kish’s main focus in practice is within the discipline of Orthodontic – Restorative dentistry.

Since graduating, Kish has completed several short and long courses in Endodontics (root fillings), removable prosthetics (dentures), fixed prosthetics (veneers, crowns & bridges) and Composite (bonding) helping him to continually enhance his understanding, knowledge and skill set. He completed a year-long advanced Post-Graduate Certificate in Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry in
2017.

He started providing fixed and aligner orthodontic treatment in 2015. Kish has since attended several post graduate courses in all things orthodontics, to help him deliver the best for his patients – including lingual braces. He is currently completing a two-year long Post Graduate Diploma in Orthodontics.

Kish is able to use fixed braces as well as aligners (such as Invisalign) to customise treatment from simple to more complex. Kish provides orthodontic treatment for both adults and children and offers:

– Labial braces
– Lingual braces
– Aligner treatment (Invisalign)

Kish has won Clinical Case Awards 2023 for Adult Fixed Orthodontics as well as has been Highly Commended at the Clinical Case Awards 2023 for Child/Teenager Fixed Orthodontics.

Fixed Braces: Fixed braces are ‘traditional’ braces. These involve brackets, which are glued to your teeth, with a wire attached usually by an elastic module. Wires are changed over the course of your treatment to help the teeth gradually move into alignment.

Brackets can be glue to the front surfaces of your teeth = Labial brace.
Labial braces are available in metal (Silver or Gold) and ceramic (tooth coloured) The modules (or elastics) used to tie the wire into the brackets come in various colours. Labial braces are suitable for all types of treatment aims and patients of all ages.

Fixed Braces: Fixed braces are ‘traditional’ braces. These involve brackets, which are glued to your teeth, with a wire attached usually by an elastic module. Wires are changed over the course of your treatment to help the teeth gradually move into alignment.

Brackets can also be glued to the back surfaces of your teeth = Lingual brace. Lingual braces are otherwise referred to as truly invisible braces! Lingual braces are suitable for most types of treatment aims and patients of all ages BUT it is usually not advisable for children.

Aligners:
Aligners are clear trays worn over the teeth.

A series of aligners are changed over a number of weeks/months to help gradually move teeth to the desired positions.

Invisalign is the most widely used brand of aligners.
